There is nothing like going to a tropical island for a vacation when it is freezing cold in your hometown. For this reason, my girlfriend and I decided to go to Nassau in December for a 3 day vacation.
Jost Van Dyke – Very Unique Experience
Jost Van Dyke, the smallest of the British Virgin Islands is a sparsely populated, but heavily visited paradise of bars, coral reefs and turquoise waters. The island is particularly favored by the yachting crowd, although there is ferry service from Tortola and Saint John.
St Thomas Virgin Islands
The beautiful island of St. Thomas is one of the United States Virgin Islands. Located in the Caribbean, this island has a tropical atmosphere and year round summer-like temperatures. The busy season for tourism on St. Thomas is from December to April of each year, but the area welcomes tourists all year round.
