Chile: The Country Of Contrasts
According to a Chilean legend, God created the world and remained with “leftovers” – rapids, mountains, volcanoes covered in snow, forests and deserts. Instead of leaving those beauties to waste, God decided to put them all in a part all the world, and He called it Chile. It is considered a tail of America, having [...]

3 Months in South America
I spent 3 months in South America last year from June to September. I went to Equador (3.5 weeks), the Galapagos Islands (8 days), Peru (3 weeks), Bolivia (2.5 weeks) and Argentina (2 weeks). Also one day each in Brazil and Chile. The highlights for me were Bolivia and Argentina, but I was very limited [...]
Brazil – The Northern Region
Salvador and Praia Do Force are beautiful places on the coast to go in the north. Salvador is a colonial city and full of old architecture and history. Praia Do Force is a tropical beach setting that is fairly untouched and breathtaking.
Galápagos Islands
I went there last summer as I was traveling through Latin America. I met someone that lived on the island before going, so I was fortunate enough to have a free place to crash and, they were a tour guide, so I got to squat on a free cruise/tour. Despite all this, it is not [...]
Sixteen Days in Peru
I spent sixteen days in Peru. I did not, however, visit the Amazon. I rushed to many of the places and spent far too much time in transit. Lima is must-see. A morning in Miraflores and then a quick look at some the cathedrals and catacombs should give you a nice feel.
Travel to Argentina
I traveled around South America for 5 months in 2008. Argentina was my favorite. Mendoza is great for wine region and exploring mountain ranges such as Aconcagua, also went white water rafting in the Andes from here which was amazing.
