Cuba: Havanas and Rum
The Republic of Cuba is a state in the northern part of the Central America, being situated on the biggest island of the Antilles Islands, as the confluence of the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Cuba occupies the entire island, but also other neighbored islands, such as Isla de la Juventud, also known as the Pines Island.
The capital city of Cuba, Havana, is impressive. The city has many museums, cathedrals and markets, being the center of the Cuban civilization, creating a discordant image because of the mixture between the Spanish, American, African and Amerindian influences.
Trinidad is a city declared as “Patrimony of the Humanity” by UNESCO, an emblematic resort of Cuba, a true tropical paradise and one of the most loved places of the Caribbean. A real Mecca of tourists, and a great place for every tourist looking for great tropical entertainment. The city is situated on the Hicacos Peninsula, 130 km away from Havana.
A honeymoon in Cuba is a failure if you don’t start it from Havana, then Varadero, the most important touristic destination of Cuba, where you could find the most beautiful beach, the Santiago de Cuba, an impressive old city in the eastern of the country.
In Havana, you can visit many places: Plaza de Armas where you could also shop, the City’s Museum, La Bodeguita del Medio, and the military park Morro-Cabana. The city, having a shocking architecture that combines the colossal with the gracious lines of the neoclassic style. The city is always alive: nightclubs, cocktails, old cars, music and dance will transpose you in another era.
Varadero is the most wanted station of Caribbean, because of the tropical beaches, the great climate and the complex tourist services. The clarity of the water, where you could admire the marine sightseeing and the impressive marine fauna makes this as the best place for diving.
