It would be rare if a traveler doesn’t fall instantly in love with Italy. The country is a zesty patchwork of past and present, and the Italians themselves are charming and full of pride.

Whether it’s the romance of Venice, the ancient sites of Rome, the artistic heritage of Florence or the sheer beauty of the Tuscan countryside, Italy has something for everyone.

Then there’s the food. Italy gave us pasta, pizza, antipasto and gelati – a veritable feast that changes with the regions – along with some of the best wine and olives in Europe.
