I was in South Africa for three weeks and loved it…. Contrary to what you may have heard, it is a beautiful country with lots of variety. Capetown is the best of the cities by far… Fantastic location and lots to see.
Besides having been to one of the World Cup games, I visited the top of Table Mountain, seen the Kirstenbosch Gardens, the Slavery Museum, the District 6 Museum, Government Ave (pedestrian walk) and the Company Gardens, Victoria and Albert Wharf area, Greenmarket Square, the charming Bo-Kaap neighborhood, Robben Island, and had a day trip to the winelands around Stellenbosch. What a great place on earth!!
